This infographic explores how the aging baby boomer generation has further increased the need for the implementation of ergonomics within the workplace.
The workforce is filled with Baby Boomers (aka, aging workers). In fact, a recent report revealed that the number of older working women significantly has risen in recent years, with the Labor Department estimating that one in five women will be working past the age of 65 by 2024 (compared to one in 12 in 1992).
This shift undoubtedly will impact the health of an aging working population as well as workforce dynamics.
