A new study published in the journal Applied Ergonomics examined construction safety in the Arabian Gulf region.

A sample of 519 incidents and interviews with safety experts was completed in the region which includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

University of Texas researchers compiled these data in order to understand the types and causes of construction accidents.
