Kenny Drew Jr. lived under too many shadows. A superb pianist, he died in 2014, and his passing, like his piano, went almost unnoticed. Here's my obit. Drew Jr. was the son of the masterful bebop pianist Kenny Drew. How much attention the elder Drew gave his son is unclear. Also unclear are the health problems Drew Jr. suffered from.
